Account Deletion

Self-Service Deletion

You can permanently delete your ToneAlign account at any time directly from within the app — no need to contact us.

  • Mobile (iOS / Android): Open the ToneAlign app → Settings → Account → scroll to Danger Zone → tap Delete Account.
  • Web: Sign in at tonealign.com → Settings → Account → scroll to Danger Zone → click Delete Account.

Once you confirm deletion, your account access is revoked immediately. You will be signed out and unable to log back in. All personal data associated with your account is fully purged from our systems within 30 days.

Subscription Cancellation

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. Please cancel your subscription separately before or after deleting your account to avoid future charges:

  • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → ToneAlign → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play app → Subscriptions → ToneAlign → Cancel

If you have a web subscription (billed via Dodo Payments), you must cancel it through the billing portal before deleting your account.

Can't Access Self-Service?

If you are unable to access the self-service deletion flow (e.g., you can no longer sign in), you can request account deletion by emailing us at tonealign@eek.digital with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Please note: Account deletion requests submitted via email may require additional verification steps to confirm that the request is coming from the account owner. If you are emailing from a different address than the one registered to the account you wish to delete, we will ask you to verify ownership before proceeding.

We will process verified email deletion requests within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

Upon account deletion the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (name, email)
  • All gear adaptations and match results
  • Your gear collection
  • All account credentials and linked OAuth connections
  • Subscription and billing records (where permitted by law)

Anonymized, non-identifiable usage analytics may be retained for product improvement purposes.
