We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, subscribe to a plan, or contact us. This includes your name, email address, and payment information.

Mobile & Device Data: When using our mobile applications, we may collect device-specific information (such as model, OS version, and unique device identifiers) to ensure the Service functions correctly across platforms.

We also automatically collect log data (IP address, browser type), and usage data such as features accessed and actions taken within the app.

Our Service utilizes automated web-scraping and AI technology to collect publicly available information from the internet regarding musical equipment, artist gear lists, and technical specifications.

This process does not involve the collection of private personal data from third-party websites. We only process data that is intended for public consumption to provide our research features.

Depending on your platform, your payments are processed by:

• Web: DodoPayments
• iOS: Apple App Store In-App Purchases
• Android: Google Play Store Billing

These third parties handle your payment information in accordance with their respective privacy policies. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Right to Delete: You may delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the App Settings (Settings → Account → Danger Zone) or via our Account Deletion page. Upon initiating deletion, your account access is revoked immediately — you will be signed out and will not be able to log back in. Your personal data will then be fully purged or anonymized from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

If you have an active subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel it separately through the respective platform to avoid future charges.

Depending on your location (such as the EEA/UK), you may have the following rights:

• Access and receive a copy of your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Data portability

Data Export (Portability): If you would like a copy of all personal data we hold about you, email us at tonealign@eek.digital with the subject line "Data Export Request". We will provide your data as a .zip archive containing .json files within 30 days of receiving your verified request.
